# Delivery Retries & Dead-Letter Queue

If your endpoint does not return a 2xx HTTP response, AtlasPay retries delivery using exponential backoff for up to 72 hours. Any non-2xx response code is treated as a failure.

Events that are not successfully delivered within the 72-hour retry window are moved to a dead-letter queue (DLQ). Events in the DLQ are not retried automatically
